This underground rated adapter is made of durable PVC with a maximum working pressure of 345 psi and a maximum working temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a solvent cemented connection for a secure fit and comes with a 5-year warranty. Schedule 80 Fittings are for pressure applications and have a thicker wall than Schedule 40. Schedule 80 is highly durable, with high tensile and impact strength. It has better sound deadening qualities than PVC and ABS Foam Core. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement.
