Irwin 1/8″ x 27 National Pipe Taper Tap, made of carbon steel, is ideal for pipe fittings. It cuts internal threads in pipes and has a normal size of the tap that is the same as the pipe being fitted. It is tapered at a rate of 3/4″ per foot and uses a drill bit letter Q or 5/16″.
